Designed for use on tubing, the Type “E” Air Spider by Keystone Energy Tools offers a robust and efficient design, specifically engineered for operational versatility and reliability. The spider is designed to be bolted into position on the rotary table, and its gate opening allows for the passage of 7 5/8” tubular without the need to remove the spider. This feature provides uninterrupted and flexible operations.
The slips of the Type “E” Spider operate pneumatically, using air pressure set within an operational range of 90-120 psi. The spider accommodates a wide range of tubular sizes from 2 3/8” to 7 5/8”, with a substantial load capacity of 175 Tons.
